Respiratory Therapist - NICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 12hr Nights, 7 PM - 7:30 AM with alternating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist with specialized experience in the NICU setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to neonatal patients and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop optimal care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in the NICU.
• Perform assessments and develop care strategies tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Utilize current clinical best practices and protocols in respiratory therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in NICU respiratory therapy.
• Current NRP certification and neonatal delivery experience required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications needed.
• Georgia State RRT license and NBRC- RRT certification required.
