Varied schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care and diagnostic services in accordance with established protocols and standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care objectives.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Perform diagnostic tests to assess lung function and other respiratory parameters.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory health and treatments.
• Document patient information and treatment progress accurately.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a respiratory care setting.
• Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Active Georgia RRT license.
• Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Holiday Expectations

MUST work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday out of the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.
