Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist, registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care, is responsible for providing comprehensive cardiopulmonary services according to approved protocols and department policies. The role focuses on delivering timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Insert arterial lines and perform intubations.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.
• Handle blood gas analysis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have valid NBRC RRT certification attached to resume.
• 2 years of recent RT experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience with pediatric and obstetric patients.
• Current Wyoming RT license attached to resume.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications, must be through the American Heart Association, attached to candidate submission.
