Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive Cardiopulmonary Services. This role involves following established protocols to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients. The therapist will assist physicians with various invasive and non-invasive procedures and manage treatments effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Delivering medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintaining airways and managing ventilators.
• Inserting arterial lines and conducting intubations.
• Performing pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests.
• Conducting blood gas analyses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have NBRC RRT or CRT certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RT experience.
• Experience with pediatrics and OB patients.
• Must possess a Wyoming RT license.
• Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Schedule

This position includes a variable schedule with two day shifts and one night shift.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
