Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering comprehensive cardiopulmonary services in accordance with protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies. This position provides timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Perform insertion of arterial lines and intubations.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.
• Analyze blood gases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have NBRC RRT certification.
• Minimum of 2 years recent respiratory therapy experience.
• Experience with pediatrics and OB patients is required.
• Wyoming RT license is required.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required (must be through the American Heart Association).

Schedule

This position will include two day shifts and one night shift in a variable schedule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
