Job Description

As a Physical Therapist, you will provide evaluation and treatment plans to patients in a dynamic acute care and inpatient rehab setting. You will be responsible for ensuring effective therapy interventions and optimizing patient care while working collaboratively with healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions for a patient ratio of 1 therapist to 12-14 patients.
• Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize EMR systems effectively (Meditech) to document patient progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS certification.
• Acute care experience is mandatory.
• Experience in Inpatient Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) is preferred.
• Knowledge of ICU and wound care management is a plus.
