Job Description

Under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, the incumbent produces diagnostic CT scans, assisting the radiologist in diagnostic procedures and ensuring patient care while representing the vision and mission of the health system. The role requires proficient use of CT imaging technology and effective coordination in managing workflow for ER, inpatients, and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic CT scans.
• Assist the radiologist in performing various CT procedures.
• Ensure optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Maintain current CPR certification and participate in mandatory in-services.
• Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist.
• Coordinate daily workflow and assist in department throughput.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT).
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• AHA BLS certification within 60 days upon hire.
• Minimum of two years clinical experience in imaging, with trauma experience required.
• Travel experience required; travelers may be required to float as needed.
