Wednesday: 8:00am to 8:30pm; Thursday-Friday: 7:00am to 7:30pm - No call, Overtime available!

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist, under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, will produce diagnostic CT scans, assist the radiologist in procedures, and ensure quality patient care while aligning with the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic CT scans and assist in radiological procedures.
• Ensure patient care is prioritized through assessment, planning, and implementation of imaging examinations.
• Coordinate daily workflow and throughput of ER, in-patients, and outpatients.
• Monitor quality control processes, as specified within departmental guidelines.
• Administer IV contrast materials under radiologist direction and maintain certification in CPR and mandatory in-services.
• Stay informed on current changes in the field of CT imaging and advance imaging for trauma concerns.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum two years of clinical experience in a relevant departmental setting.
• Experience in trauma settings is required.
• Licensure: American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R) and AART (CT), as well as a State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• Must obtain AHA BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
