Speech Therapist - Inpatient & Outpatient

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech Therapist to join our team. This position primarily focuses on providing inpatient therapy, with the potential for some outpatient services. The Speech Therapist will work with a diverse patient population including individuals with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and Parkinson's disease, as well as trauma patients and those requiring cognitive evaluations and swallow studies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions focused on improving communication and swallow function.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and goals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid Speech Therapist license in the state of Nebraska.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Schedule

This is a day shift position with guaranteed hours of 40 per week.
