Licensed Speech Therapist - Neuro and Rehab Focus

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend coverage.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Speech Therapist to provide high-quality care within a dynamic neuro and rehabilitation setting. This position involves managing a daily caseload of 7-10 patients, including those with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and Parkinson’s disease, as well as trauma patients and individuals requiring cognitive evaluations for home safety. The therapist will also conduct swallow studies as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Licensed Speech Therapist in the state of Nebraska.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
