Speech Therapist - Day Shift

Day shift, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend coverage.

Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Speech Therapist to join our team. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, focusing on neuro conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and Parkinson's disease, as well as trauma cases, post-intubation patients, and performing cognitive evaluations for home safety and some swallow studies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress using the Epic EMR system.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current licensure as a Speech Therapist in the state of Nebraska.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Experience with acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred.
