Occupational Therapist - 10-Hour Shifts

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist evaluates, selects, and performs educational, vocational, and recreational activities designed to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients upon physician referral. The role involves collaboration with families and health team members regarding patient abilities and goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and direct assistance in rehabilitation activities for patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with families and health team members to achieve patient goals.
• Maintain current knowledge of occupational therapy related to physical disabilities and rehabilitation procedures.
• Utilize effective communication and team skills with other health professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Eligible for licensure or current license from the State of Oregon.
• Current valid Oregon driver's license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy practices related to rehabilitation and mental health.
• Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating positive attitude and communication skills.

Schedule

This position offers a schedule of 40 hours per week, with 10-hour shifts.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
