Physical Therapist - Acute Care

This position operates on a Day 5x8-Hour schedule from 09:00 to 17:30.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide exceptional care in an acute setting, focusing on evaluations, treatment plans, and delivering interventions to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment protocols and home exercise programs.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred.
• Current Texas State License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Travel experience is preferred but not necessary.
