Job Description

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for patient evaluation, development, and execution of treatment plans to support the mission of the organization. Experience in outpatient hand therapy, postoperative hand surgeries, and splinting is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations to assess needs and develop treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions for hand therapy patients.
• Assist in the management of postoperative hand surgery patients.
• Fabricate splints as required and educate patients on their use.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, or certification by NBCOT.
• Current and valid occupational therapy license to practice in Oregon or license-eligible prior to the start date.
• BLS certification from the AHA required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in outpatient hand therapy and postoperative hand surgeries required.
• CHT certification preferred.
