Occupational Therapist - Acute Rehab Unit

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (08:00 - 17:30) with 3-4 weekend shifts required.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services for patients in an Acute Rehabilitation unit, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in ICU settings. The role involves assessment, treatment planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to assist patients in their recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patient needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Implement therapeutic activities and interventions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment processes and care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
• Assist with discharge planning and home exercise programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Oregon CNA license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• ICU experience preferred.
