Schedule

Day shift: 3x12 Hour shifts from 08:00 AM to 05:30 PM. There is a possibility of 4x9 shifts and 3-4 weekend dates required.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide patient-centered care within an acute rehabilitation setting. Ideal candidates will have experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and be versatile in managing a range of patient diagnoses, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and implement treatment plans for patients recovering from serious injuries or surgeries.
• Assume charge responsibilities and manage caseload efficiently.
• Utilize adaptive equipment assessments and other therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients and families on safety, functional capabilities, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care provision.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Experience in an ICU setting is strongly preferred.
• Oregon CNA license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• Certification in specialty-relevant areas is preferred.
• Experience with Epic Charting system is a hard stop requirement.
