Job Description

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for patient evaluation, development, and follow-through of treatment plans to support the mission of healthcare services in the outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient hand therapy, with specific skills in working with post-operative hand surgeries and splinting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Implement treatment plans to assist patients in achieving optimal function.
• Utilize appropriate techniques for post-operative hand surgeries and splinting.
• Document therapy services provided and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid license to practice in the state of Oregon or is license eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA within 90 days of hire is required.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification is preferred.
• Clinical experience in outpatient settings, specifically in hand therapy.
