Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide patient care in an Acute Rehabilitation unit, focusing on evaluation and treatment of patients in various stages of recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at rehabilitation and recovery.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and techniques to enhance patient mobility and independence.
• Educate patients and families on care strategies and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• ICU experience strongly preferred.
• Oregon CNA license must be in hand at the time of submission; RN license is not required.
• Certification relevant to Occupational Therapy.
• Epic Charting experience is a hard requirement.
