Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). D/N rotating shifts may be required based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Stepdown Unit for a temporary contract. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while rotating through day and night shifts as necessary. This position includes potential floating to other units based on patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a Stepdown environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective care delivery.
• Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with coordinated discharge planning and patient education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in a Stepdown or equivalent nursing specialty.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS must be in hand upon submission.
• Experience with ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate is necessary; assessment will occur during orientation.
