MRI Technician

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. Technicians will work 3x12 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Saturday through Monday. Will work holidays if they fall on scheduled shift.

Job Description

The MRI Technician will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients while ensuring their safety and comfort. The candidate will operate MRI equipment and work closely with the healthcare team to provide quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients according to established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to discuss images and results.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Adhere to safety standards and infection control policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience preferred.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Siemens MRI experience is preferred.
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred.
