Mobile MRI Technologist

Job Description

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) is responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations on patient populations for physician interpretation. Under general supervision, the MRI Technologist adheres to established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort during the imaging process.

Responsibilities

• Perform general MRI exams, including but not limited to implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac imaging.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards.
• Provide excellent patient care and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor issues as needed.
• Document imaging results accurately and in a timely manner.

Schedule

This position typically operates on a schedule of Monday through Friday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Options for alternative schedules may include 4x10s or 3x12s, and there is a weekend requirement on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for select weeks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required.
• Certifications needed: BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT.
• Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency.
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is mandatory. Preference for knowledge of Sectra and Epic.
