Job Description

We are seeking a Triage Cardiology RN to join our team in Seattle, WA. This role is essential for providing high-quality care to cardiology patients, performing critical assessments, and ensuring appropriate triage based on established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Triage patient calls and messages following clinic protocols.
• Assess symptoms and determine the need for escalation of care.
• Reinforce medication instructions as provided by physicians.
• Perform medication reconciliation, vital sign monitoring, and pain assessments.
• Obtain 12 lead EKGs/ECGs and interpret cardiovascular symptoms.
• Educate patients on lifestyle changes and medication adherence.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience as an RN in an outpatient cardiology clinic or triage setting.
• Current RN license in Washington or Compact license.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
