Physical Therapist - Day Shift

Scheduled to work in inpatient, swing, or skilled nursing facilities, with potential to cover at a hospital as needed.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various diagnoses and personalities within an inpatient and skilled nursing environment. This role requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work independently while being punctual and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assess and create treatment plans for patients based on individual needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patient functionality and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment progress and objectives.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Stay updated on the latest treatment practices and techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current California Physical Therapy License.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA.
• Passage of the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE).
• At least one year of experience in acute, swingbed/skilled nursing, or outpatient settings.
