Job Description

We are seeking experienced OB Registered Nurses with expertise in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) as well as Newborn Nursery. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive and independent care to patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care phases.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide care and monitor patients in all phases of labor and delivery.
• Perform triage and immediate recovery in labor, postpartum, and newborn care.
• Assist in high risk deliveries, cesarean sections, and perform sterile vaginal examinations.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as needed.
• Conduct newborn assessments and maintain neonatal resuscitation standards.
• Provide discharge teaching to new parents.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Valid New York State RN license required.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP are mandatory.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a hard requirement.
• Knowledge of both low-risk and high-risk maternal care is essential.
