OB Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Hour Night Shift (19:00 - 07:30) with rotating weekend coverage every other weekend and on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified OB Registered Nurse with comprehensive experience in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) and Newborn Nursery. The nurse will be responsible for providing independent, holistic care to patients throughout all phases of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide comprehensive care during labor and delivery processes.
• Manage postpartum recovery and newborn assessments.
• Assist with both vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, including circulating and scrubbing for C-sections.
• Respond to high-risk delivery situations and administer appropriate interventions.
• Utilize EPIC charting for patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active NYC RN license to submit.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience in OB nursing is required, with certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement.
• ERM certification is preferred.
