Med/Surg Tele RN - Night/Day Shift

Schedule

Night Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM; Day Shift: 7 AM - 7:30 PM. Rotating shifts may be required to meet operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele RN with strong clinical skills to provide care for our patients. The role includes the potential to float between various units to meet the needs of the facility while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and ECG rhythms.
• Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring safe practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide guidance and support to patients and families regarding care processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent nursing experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry.
• Must hold an active Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
