Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM, Monday through Friday with required late shifts a few times a month. Call is required for STEMI activations, approximately one week of call over a 12 to 16-week period, including weekends and nights.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing in the Cath Lab, providing care for adult patients undergoing various cardiac procedures. This role includes participation in STEMI call and requires proficiency in handling emergency situations with a mandatory EKG pass/fail exam.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Monitor and manage procedural sedation.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Utilize specialized equipment, including but not limited to, IABP, Impella, and ECMO.
• Respond promptly to STEMI activations, arriving within 30 minutes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab or related environment.
• Proficiency in using XPER and EPIC's CUPID software systems.
• Knowledge of various cardiac technologies and procedures.
