Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No weekends or holidays.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide care in a Cardiac Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing patients undergoing cardiac procedures, ensuring high-quality care and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry patients.
• Provide care for patients undergoing various cardiac procedures including diagnostic heart catheterization and pacemaker insertions.
• Administer medications and manage IV drips, including vasoactive and cardiac drips.
• Perform EKGs and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit.
• Active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is necessary.
• Cardiac telemetry experience is mandatory.
• Pass Fail EKG exam required for compliance.
