Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour Shifts (Monday - Friday) from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM. No weekends or holidays.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Telemetry to provide patient care in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac telemetry and is comfortable working with patients undergoing various cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients undergoing Telemetry and respond to changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and procedural sedation as necessary.
• Manage cardiac drips, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Conduct EKG monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Provide post-operative care for cardiac procedures, including catheterizations and ablations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in cardiac telemetry.
• Active RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• Familiarity with various cardiac procedures and management of cardiac devices.
