Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 36 hours per week with alternating weekends.

Job Description

The Critical Care Unit is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients. You will play a crucial role in monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Titrate vesicant medications and ensure safe administration of pressors, sedation, and paralytics.
• Monitor patients on ventilators and tracheostomies, interpreting telemetry data and hemodynamic parameters.
• Set up and interpret pulmonary artery catheters, perform transvenous pacing, and assist with cardioversion.
• Participate in advanced procedures such as central line insertion, bronchoscopy, and thoracentesis.
• Maintain and manage chest tubes and provide comprehensive post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess RN licensure with ICU experience required.
• Competence in titration of vesicant medications and understanding of advanced critical care skills.
• CCRN certification, as well as experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT, are highly appreciated but not required.
