Registered Nurse - Adolescent Mental Health

Evenings - 8 hour shifts, 32-40 hours per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in an adolescent mental health unit within an acute inpatient hospital. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to handle the unique challenges of working with adolescents facing mental health and behavioral disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adolescents with mental health and behavioral disorders.
• Administer medications and monitor patient behaviors.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all patients on the unit.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and coping strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of nursing experience in a mental health setting is required.
• A valid RN license is required.
