CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM with holiday rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role requires a strong background in cardiac and neuro care, with the capability to manage critical patients in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform critical nursing skills including management of ventilators, ECMO, and monitoring of arterial lines.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and maintain patient safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of CVICU nursing experience is required; 2 years preferred.
• South Carolina RN license or compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Epic charting experience is required.
