Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

This is a 13-week contract position with a set schedule of Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for our Inpatient Rehab unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The therapist will work closely with patients to create and implement effective rehabilitation plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility and quality of life.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Active Maryland or Compact physical therapy license is required.
• No history of nicotine use; candidates must be nicotine-free due to facility policy.
