Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment. This role involves working under the supervision of licensed physical therapists and providing direct patient care to assist in the rehabilitation of patients. The ideal candidate will enhance patient recovery and contribute to overall patient wellness through effective therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing patient care plans.
• Conduct therapy sessions to improve patient mobility and strength.
• Document patient progress and report to supervising therapists.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for therapeutic activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid PTA licensure as per state regulations.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
