Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with CVOR experience to join our surgical team. This role involves preparing and caring for pre-operative patients, maintaining aseptic techniques, and assisting during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients' skin for surgery in accordance with hospital standards.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor for any breaches in protocol.
• Provide comfort and support to pre-operative patients.
• Transport patients to and from the Operating Room.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Ensure surgeon preference cards are updated and instruments are ready for surgery.
• Adapt patient care to meet specific physical and psychosocial needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of the Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neurosurgery.
• CVOR experience required; additional experience in General, Orthopedic, Plastic, Urological, ENT, and Vascular surgery preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN Licensure required.
