This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule (06:45 AM - 03:00 PM). On-call required during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular OR Technologist will be responsible for assisting in cardiovascular surgery, ensuring that procedural standards are maintained, and providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate must have experience in Cardiovascular surgery and be able to scrub heart valve or open heart procedures independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile environment and instruments in the operating room.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and supplies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and standards of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of consecutive experience in Cardiovascular surgery.
• Current BLS and CST certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
