Day shift: 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized care for critically ill neonates. With a focus on family-centered care, the RN will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive medical and emotional support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and medical status.
• Educate parents about neonate care, feeding, and medication.
• Perform specialized technical procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in high-risk deliveries and support neonatal resuscitation efforts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• One year of experience in NICU or equivalent.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Current BLS and NRP certification required.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is a plus.
