NICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift, 4x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join our team for the night shift. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a NICU setting and be comfortable floating among similar units as needed. This position requires working weekends with a commitment of 4 weekend shifts per 6-week period.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for neonates with varying diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, including blood products and antibiotics.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide respiratory support when necessary.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and perform necessary procedures such as lumbar punctures.
• Educate patients and families on care procedures and breastfeeding support.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of NICU nursing experience required.
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Experience with a variety of NICU equipment and procedures.
• Must be willing to float to similar units based on facility needs.
