LPN - Full Time Position

Schedule

Must be able to start on a Tuesday or Thursday for full shift orientation. This position requires both day and evening shifts.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs direct and indirect designated resident care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel. The LPN ensures that residents' needs are met with respect to their individual care plans and complies with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Meet residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) needs as outlined in their care plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Ensure residents' nutritional needs are met in accordance with their preferences.
• Provide rehabilitative care as per the residents' restorative and maintenance plans.
• Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse promptly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid New York LPN Licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or RQI only)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN, preferably in a long-term care or CNA capacity
• High School Diploma or GED

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
