Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the OB department, specializing in Labor and Delivery and Nursery care. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages, as well as caring for newborns in the nursery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Float to the nursery as needed, offering care and support to newborns
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being during labor
• Perform necessary interventions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EHR system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 to 1.5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and Nursery care
• Current RN license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications required
• Intermediate fetal monitoring certification or higher
• STABLE certification for nursery care
