Labor and Delivery Nurse / Nursery Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse / Nursery Nurse to join our team. The selected candidate will float between the Labor and Delivery unit and the Nursery, providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care during labor and delivery.
• Assist in the care of newborns in the Nursery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, making clinical assessments as needed.
• Conduct and interpret fetal monitoring techniques.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care and discharge instructions.

Schedule

This is a Night Shift position from 18:45 to 07:15, guaranteed for 36 hours per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year to 18 months of experience in maternal health care.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate fetal monitoring or above, STABLE for nursery.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
