Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stress Testing

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM. One Saturday morning call from 07:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for performing cardiac stress testing procedures, including treadmill tests, nuclear stress tests, and stress echocardiograms. The RN will work closely with cardiologists to ensure compliance with protocols and provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all stress testing procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Read and interpret EKG strips.
• Start IVs and administer Definity for echocardiograms.
• Coordinate with cardiologists during dobutamine stress echocardiogram.
• Manage both inpatient and outpatient stress testing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Telemetry experience and cardiology background required.
• Experience in performing and interpreting stress tests is preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
