Acute Inpatient Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift 5x8-Hour schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Weekend availability is not required, and there is no on-call duty.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Acute Inpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and implementing treatment plans for patients in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical capabilities.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans for rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Active SC or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist License at the start of the contract.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• No first-time travelers; previous traveling experience is required.
