Inpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) with 1 weekend required per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Physical Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team. The therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients in a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation unit, providing high-quality rehabilitative care while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and create individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Administer physical therapy interventions to improve patients' mobility and functionality.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current South Carolina Physical Therapist License or Multi-State Compact License.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
