Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical Unit - Night Shift

Schedule

12-hour night shifts (0600-1830 or 1800-0630), every other weekend requirement, with floating to PCU for MSU assignments.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in a 23-bed Medical-Surgical Unit, providing high-quality care to patients with a maximum nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. The nurse will be required to float to the Progressive Care Unit as needed, unless telemetry trained.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and coordinate patient care.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Nebraska.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• NIHSS certification.
• Telemetry training preferred for floating assignments.
