Medical Surgical RN Travel Nurse

Schedule

This position involves working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Medical Surgical setting and will be willing to float to various units as necessary. Candidates must possess a current Massachusetts RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Float to any Medical Surgical unit as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years current experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS must be current and uploaded upon profile submission.
• Must have a valid Massachusetts RN license.
• A personal vehicle is required for this assignment.
