• 6am - 4pm (30 min break) for 3 days
• 6:30am - 4pm (30 min break) for 1 day

Job Description

The Dual Modality CT/X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality imaging examinations in accordance with established policies and procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The technologist will work independently and exhibit behavior that promotes patient confidence and trust.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cat Scan Imaging Exams and X-Ray examinations independently.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of pediatric immobilization devices and adhere to safety standards.
• Prepare and enter required documentation, including patient consent and chart details.
• Observe sterile and aseptic techniques during procedures.
• Assess the physical needs of adult and geriatric patients, addressing their fears and apprehensions.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas while ensuring timely completion of examinations.
• Adhere to bio-safety and radiation safety rules and regulations.
• Perform related duties in PACS and ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT certification and NYSDOH license required.
• BLS certification from AHA.
