This is a 13-week contract position.

Full Time 3x12s (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) on Fri, Sat, Sun weekly + holiday rotation schedule.
Job Description
The CT/Radiologic Technologist performs technical radiographic assignments and employs complex skills and judgment in accordance with the principles and methods of CT and Radiologic Technology. This role involves the performance of diagnostic radiographic studies as requested, operating portable diagnostic radiographic equipment, and adhering to infection control protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain radiographic, CT, and image processing equipment with precision.
- Evaluate images for quality; demonstrate accuracy in positioning based on procedural guidelines.
- Provide clear and calming instructions to patients during procedures.
- Ensure appropriate radiation protection measures are utilized for self and patients.
- Demonstrate flexibility by assuming emergency call duties during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain competency in RIS and PACS; manage patient exams and billing entries through the system.
- Perform required quality control activities and adhere to NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines.
- Manage radiographic and CT studies involving IV contrast enhancement.
- Expected to have contact with blood, body fluids, and tissues.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active ARRT certification and New York State License.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, with solid Radiologic Technology/X-Ray experience or C-Arm experience preferred.
- Experience with Siemens equipment is preferred.
