Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes ensuring the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate an effective return to community activities while serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner, in compliance with state, federal, and clinic policies.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision and evaluations.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and professional activities.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
• Understand the organization’s performance improvement methodology and participate in initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months - 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license for practicing as a Physical Therapist.

Schedule

This position follows a 5x8 schedule, with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
