Outpatient Physical Therapist Contract Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 6-month contract position starting on August 24th.

Schedule

This position operates on a 5x8.0 schedule with shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes providing quality therapy services, educating patients and their families, and maintaining a safe and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develops individualized treatment plans focused on patient goals.
• Documents patient care accurately and in compliance with guidelines.
• Maintains professional licensure and adheres to state practice acts.
• Participates in student training and supervision as needed.
• Engages in continuous professional development activities.
• Contributes to the organization’s performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR Certification.
• 6 months to 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
